President's Statement
The changing face of the world's drinks industry will create opportunities for the development of our company in the years ahead. Consumers are demonstrating an increasing desire to trade up to more premium products as well as to experiment with new brands and these are just two of the trends that we believe will help International Beverage achieve its strong brand growth targets.
The recent listing of our parent company on the Singapore Stock Exchange has provided us with a sound platform from which to drive the business forward in our core markets in the rapidly developing regions of Asia as well as in the more established markets including Europe and the United States.
I am pleased to see that our model of decentralising decision making within International Beverage has enabled localised and effective planning and action to become common place and we have quickly struck the required balance between international consistency and local flexibility in everything that we do. We are developing a brand presence in all our markets throughout the world and that coupled with our dynamic and unique brand portfolio means we anticipate rapid development over the next twelve months.
