Thai Beverage sets B 50mn on promotion

To advertise and promote its products, Thai Beverage Marketing Co Ltd (Thai Beverage) has set a budget of B 50mn (US$ 1.26mn EUR 1.06mn) for the year 2006.
One of its promotional activities is the second Mekong Thai Rum Cocktail Contest 2006 that will search for the best cocktail recipe and bartenders.
The contest will be carried out in March 2006. In addition, Thai Beverage also intends to concentrate on boosting the awareness of consumers in roughly 20 nations, mainly in Southeast Asia.
To date, Thai Beverage's Mekong whisky brand corners a 40% share in the whisky market in Thailand.
