  • Speyburn Distillery Courtyard

    Speyburn Distillery

Distilled since 1897 in the world-renowned Speyside region of Scotland, Speyburn distillery embodies the generations of commitment, experience and tradition that go into producing award-winning single malt scotch whisky.

For generations, the Speyside region of Scotland has been known to contain some of the cleanest and most mineral rich waters in the world. This is what drew Hopkins to the area in search of the perfect place to found a distillery. After a long time hunting for the right spot, Hopkins finally discovered a secluded valley near a freshwater tributary of the River Spey. It was there he found the Granty Burn, an untouched hidden stream. He knew that the burn's exceptionally pure water would produce a remarkable whisky with a naturally refreshing character. It is here that he broke ground and founded the Speyburn Distillery, beginning his legacy.

  • Balblair Distillery

    Balblair Distillery

As the quintessential distillery, Balblair sits on a remote and unspoiled hillside overlooking the Dornoch Firth in the North of Scotland. Balblair whiskies are the embodiment of everything they stand for, using only the finest ingredients and traditional processes to craft its distinctive, characterful whisky.

Balblair Highland home sits on an ancient Pictish gathering place; giving it an intriguing, mystical feel. The Picts gathered over 3,000 years ago, and like us, they were watched over by the solitary Clach Biorach standing stone which sits next to the distillery to this day.  An iconic carved Z Rod marking bears witness to this rich history and is symbolised on each bottle of Balblair.

  • ancnoc Distillery Knockdhu - Pagoda and warehouses

    Knockdhu Distillery

Picture an expanse of barley fields, with a rich supply of peat and crisp, clear spring water close at hand. Couple that with the presence of the Great North of Scotland railway line on your doorstep and it’s not hard to see why John Morrison embraced the opportunity to turn a gift of nature into something unique to share with the world.

Knockdhu distillery's enduring charisma echoes the timeless allure of the nearby Black Hill or 'Knockdhu' in Gaelic. It provides the distillery with not only its name, but is the source of the pure, clear spring water required to make anCnoc's whisky.

The brand name anCnoc (Gaelic for ‘the hill’ and pronounced ‘a-nock’), however, lends it the unusual distinction of not being named after the distillery which produces it.

  • Larsen Cognac

Larsen le Cognac des Vikings SAS

Founded in 1926 by Norwegian adventurer Jens Reidar Larsen after he settled in South West France, Larsen Cognac boasts a very special distillation procedure which is a crucial part of Larsen Cognac style: after vinification a double distillation of the wines takes place without the lees, in order to preserve the original fruity aromas of the grapes and produce eaux-de-vie of superior elegance and finesse.  Larsen’s barrels are crafted from fine-grained sessile oak sourced from France’s Tronçais forest. These ancient trees are relatively low in tannins, and the very light toast used by the cooperage ensures that the barrels conform to the very precise vision that Jens Reidar Larsen set out to achieve for his Cognacs.
